Medical Description

Tiboru-DP tablet is a combination pain-relieving medicine used for short-term relief of pain, swelling and inflammation after injury, surgery, or in selected joint, muscle, bone, dental, ear and throat conditions. It contains diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine, paracetamol for pain and fever, and trypsin-chymotrypsin, protein-digesting enzymes that may help reduce tissue swelling. Diclofenac lowers substances involved in inflammation, paracetamol acts mainly in the brain to reduce pain and fever, and the enzymes may help with swelling. The tablet is taken by mouth with or after food as prescribed.

Interactions

Interactions with other medicines

Some medicines can affect the way Tiboru-DP works. Tell your doctor about all the medicines, vitamins and supplements you take. In particular, mention blood thinners because diclofenac can increase bleeding; steroid medicines and other anti-inflammatory pain relievers because they can increase stomach bleeding; blood pressure or heart medicines, water tablets and kidney medicines because diclofenac can reduce their effect or worsen kidney function; lithium and methotrexate because their levels can rise; and products containing paracetamol because total exposure increases.

Interactions with food items
