Tenepure 20 MG Description

Tenepure Tablet is an anti-diabetic medicine. It contains teneligliptin. It is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. The dose and duration of this medicine will be decided by your treat

ing doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Before initiating the treatment with this medicine you should let your doctor know about your complete medical history. Individuals with high blood sugar or diabetes are at risk of getting various health complications such as eye, kidney and nerve problems, heart diseases and stroke if not controlled well. Hence it is advisable along with taking your diabetes medications regularly as prescribed by your doctor you should also make certain lifestyle modifications. Regular exercise, following low carb diet, avoid smoking, limiting alcohol consumption and maintaining a healthy weight to name a few. You should also regularly check your blood sugar levels.

Contraindications of Tenepure 20 MG

  • If you are allergic to teneligliptin or any of the ingredients of this medicine
  • If your diabetes is uncontrolled and complications like ketosis (serious metabolism-related problem), diabetic coma or pre-coma have developed.
  • If you have to undergo surgery or are suffering from a serious physical injury and insulin injection is being used for controlling blood sugar.

  • You have undergone any surgery of stomach or intestine.
  • You have heart problems like irregular heart rhythm and heart failure as it may increase the symptoms further.
