Medical Description

Telvas-H tablet is an anti-hypertensive medicine used to treat high blood pressure when it cannot be managed using a single medicine. It is a combination medicine containing telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide as its active ingredients. This medicine acts by relaxing the blood vessels and increasing diuresis, which works synergistically to lower the raised blood pressure.

Pregnant women should not take this medicine. Do not stop taking Telvas-H tablets abruptly, as it may cause sudden hypertensive crises and worsen the health further. Always take it as prescribed and advised by your doctor. Visit a nearby clinic or hospital in case of any side effects that worsen or remain persistent.

Telmikind H 40mg tablets, Telma H tablet, Tazloc H 40mg tablets, Temsan H 40mg tablets and Telista H 40mg tablets also contain telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide as active ingredients. Before using the Telvas-H tablet, inform the doctor if you are breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.
