Taxocare 120 MG Description

Taxocare injection is an anticancer medication used to treat breast cancer, prostate cancer, gastric cancer, and head and neck cancer. It may be administered alone or in combination with other anticancer medications. The active ingredient in this injection is docetaxel. Taxocare injection will be administered by a healthcare professional in a medical setting.

Taxocare injection can impact fertility in both men and women. Women of childbearing potential should use effective contraception during and after treatment. Men should also use contraception and consider sperm preservation before treatment. Docetaxel can harm a developing fetus, so it should not be used during pregnancy. Breastfeeding should be discontinued during treatment due to potential risks to the infant.

You experience abnormal swellings due to excess accumulation of fluid in the body, pain, tingling, or burning in the hands and feet, skin rashes, etc. after taking the injection.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Taxocare injection?

Avoid alcohol while on treatment with the medicine as it may worsen the side effects. Inform your doctor about your drinking habits if you drink too often, have a liver condition or suffer from fits and seizures.

Driving

Can I drive after taking Taxocare injection?

The medicine may impair the ability to drive, and avoid driving after taking the injection.

Pregnancy

Can I take Taxocare injection during pregnancy?

Avoid during pregnancy as it may cause fetal harm. Inform the doctor if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy before initiating treatment with the medicine. If you become pregnant while taking the treatment, inform the doctor immediately.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Taxocare injection while breastfeeding?

It is not known if the component of the medicine passes into breast milk. To avoid risk breastfeeding must be discontinued while receiving treatment with the medicine.
