Uses
- Migraine attack with or without the symptoms (nausea and sensitivity to light)
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to sumatriptan
- If you have history of heart attack, stroke or mini stroke or other heart problems
- If you have epilepsy or fits
- If you have intolerance to some sugars

Alcohol
Q:
Can I consume alcohol with Suminat Tablet?
A:
While consumption of alcohol does not affect absorption of sumatriptan, it may worsen the side effects like drowsiness. Therefore, if you drink regularly, please consult your doctor.
Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
The tablet works by reducing the swelling of blood vessels in your head which thereby relieves the migraine headache.
Directions for Use
- Please follow the directions on the product packaging or as directed by your doctor
- You may swallow the tablet as a whole with a glass of water
Interactions
Treatment with MAO-A inhibitors increases the plasma levels of sumatriptan
Tell your doctor if you are on ergotamine or methylsergide or other triptans for your migraine

Dosage
