Medical Description

Solitral capsule contains a combination of alfuzosin and solifenacin as active substances. It is used in the management of the symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH). BPH is a condition of enlargement of the prostate gland. Solitral capsule is also used to manage the need to urinate frequently and the sudden, strong urge to urinate without prior warning. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Before starting Solitral capsule, inform your doctor about your complete medical history.

  • Solitral capsule is used to manage the symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) - a condition of enlargement of the prostate gland.
  • It is also used for the management of the symptoms of an overactive bladder - like a strong, sudden urge to urinate without prior warning or having to urinate frequently.

Contraindications of SOLITRAL STRIP OF 10 CAPSULES

  • If you are allergic to alfuzosin, solifenacin or any of the other ingredients of Solitral capsule.
  • If you are taking a medicine called an alpha-blocker. If you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor.
  • If you have orthostatic hypotension - a condition of low blood pressure that occurs when standing after sitting or lying down.
  • If you have liver or kidney disorders.
  • If you are unable to empty your bladder completely.
  • If you have a severe stomach or bowel condition.
  • If you have a condition called myasthenia gravis.
  • If you have a condition of increased pressure in the eyes (glaucoma).
  • If you are undergoing kidney dialysis.
  • If you have a severe kidney disorder or moderate liver disorder and are taking medicines that may decrease the removal of Solitral capsule.
