Skinshine Cream
Description
Skinshine Cream is a medicine used to treat skin conditions like melasma, which causes dark and discoloured patches on the skin, often on the face. It also helps reduce age spots (dark spots that appear due to sun exposure), giving the skin a more even and lighter appearance.
This cream contains a combination of three active ingredients, mometasone, tretinoin, and hydroquinone, which work together to improve skin tone. They help reduce excess pigmentation, support skin renewal, and decrease inflammation, making the skin look clearer over time.
You should use Skinshine Cream exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Apply a thin layer only on the affected areas and avoid using more than recommended. Do not apply it on broken or irritated skin unless advised by your doctor.
It is important to avoid direct sun exposure after applying this cream, as your skin may become more sensitive to sunlight. Using sunscreen and protective clothing can help prevent further darkening. If you notice any irritation or discomfort, consult your doctor.

Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Skinshine Cream contains a combination of Mometasone, Tretinoin and Hydroquinone as active ingredients and works by the combined action of these three components.
- Hydroquinone inhibits an enzyme known as tyrosinase, which is responsible for the production of a pigment called melanin. Melanin is responsible for skin pigmentation and melasma.
- Tretinoin is a metabolite of vitamin A. It is responsible for the elimination of melanin that has been formed. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.
- Mometasone is a corticosteroid and it works by blocking the production of inflammatory chemicals like prostaglandins and leukotrienes. Mometasone narrows and constricts blood vessels, which are dilated (widened) and leaky and allowing other inflammatory cells into the skin to promote the inflammatory response....
