Silofast D8 Tablet

• If you are allergic to silodosin, dutasteride, or any other ingredient of Silofast D8 tablet.
• If you are taking medicines like ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir, or cyclosporine. if you are not sure what these medicines are, please confirm with your doctor.
• If you have liver or kidney disorders.
• If you are a female or a child.

• Abnormal ejaculation
• Diarrhoea
• Runny or blocked nose
• Diarrhoea

Other General Warnings

• You suffer from low or high blood pressure.
• You suffer from any eye disorder or are planning to get eye surgery.
• You suffer from heart disease.
• You have any fungal or viral infection.
• You are taking medicines that lowers immunity.

• Silofast D8 tablet should be taken exactly as directed by your doctor.
• Swallow it whole with a glass of water.
• Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
• It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
• You should not consume more than the dose prescribed by your doctor.

• Store Silofast D8 tablet below 30°C in a cool and dry place.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Overdose

Missed a Dose

• If you forget a dose of Silofast D8 tablet, take it as soon as you remember it.
• However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose.
• Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

How Does It Work?

• Silofast D8 tablet contains a combination of silodosin and dutasteride as active ingredients.
• Silodosin works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate, bladder, and urethra (the tube that carries urine outside the body).
• Dutasteride helps in reducing the size of the enlarged prostate.
• Together, this allows the proper flow of urine and helps to relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy.

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Silofast D8 tablet works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Antifungal medicines such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, immunosuppressant medicine such as cyclosporine, and antiviral medicine such as ritonavir should be avoided with Silofast D8 tablet.
• Concomitant use of blood pressure lowering medicines should be done with caution, as it may lead to excessive lowering of blood pressure.
