Serutan tablets contain Pancreatin(212.5Mg) as its active ingredient. Serutan tablets are a type of medicine known as digestive enzymes or 'pancreatic enzyme supplements. Serutan tablets treat malabs

orption syndrome by improving digestion and preventing pancreatic enzyme insufficiency. Serutan tablets are suggested for persons who don't produce enough enzymes to digest their food on their own. Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency is the inability to adequately digest food due to a lack of digestive enzymes in the pancreas. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. A: Patients who have been taken the Serutan tablets for digestive problems caused by pancreas disorders are usually safe. However, Serutan tablets can raise blood uric acid levels, making your gout worse and causing painful swollen joints. In addition, skin rashes, swollen lips, increased flatulence, stomach pain, headache, dizziness, and other allergic responses are possible side effects of the Serutan tablets. Before taking this prescription, talk to your doctor about your allergies and your current medications.

Q: What foods should I avoid if I don't have enough pancreatic enzymes?

A: To make it easier for your pancreas to digest what you consume, try eating five small meals. Consume a well-balanced, low-fat diet that excludes items high in saturated and trans fats. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables, fat-free meat/poultry, legumes, and low-fat dairy sources should be included. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of drinks and water throughout the day. Ask your doctor whether you can take regular vitamins like A, D, E, and K because they will benefit you. Healthy polyunsaturated fat can be consumed in small doses. Because smoking and drinking alcohol can harm your pancreas, avoid them.

Q: Is it safe to give the Serutan tablets to children?

A: Yes, children can use Serutan tablets. Children, like adults, need to drink enough fluids while taking the Serutan tablets. If you're giving it to a baby under one year, you can open the capsule and pour the contents directly into the baby's mouth. After that, you can feed your kid breast milk or infant milk formula. Do not, however, mix the Serutan tablets into the formula or breast milk directly.
