It is a prescription medication and can have several side effects if taken unsupervised. A dose adjustment may be needed in patients depending upon their age, sex and severity of the condition. Abruptly discontinuing it may result in withdrawal symptoms like tingling in arms and legs, sweating, and abnormal mood changes. - Sermind 50 mg Tablets can be taken with or without food.
- Sermind 50 mg Tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.
- Avoid using Sermind 50 mg Tablets if the seal of the packet is not intact.

- Abciximab, when combined with sertraline(the active ingredient of Sermind 50 mg Tablet), may increase the chances of bleeding in the gastrointestinal system.
- Acarbose may lead to increased blood sugar.
- Aceclofenac may increase the chances of gastric bleeding.
- Atomoxetine decreases the metabolism of sertraline.
- Zopiclone may increase the risk of side effects.
- Valproate bismuth increases the chances of serotonin syndrome (characterised by high blood pressure, confusion and muscle rigidity).
