Allegra 180mg tablet is an anti-allergic medicine. It is used to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria like watery eyes, runny or blocked nose, itching, sneezing and hives. Allergic rhi

itis is an allergic response to allergy-producing substances like pollen, dust or mold. It irritates the nose/throat and symptoms like sneezing, wheezing, etc. Allergic rhinitis is a common condition that affects an individual’s quality of life and if left untreated, may contribute to other conditions like asthma, otitis media, and sinusitis. Allegra tablet contains fexofenadine as the active ingredient. It works by blocking the effect of a substance called histamine, which is responsible for the production of an allergic reaction in the body. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as recommended by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Your doctor may advise you preferably take Allegra tablet at bedtime, as it may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its components. Allegra tablets should not be used in children below the age of 12. You should be cautious while driving after taking this medicine as it may cause dizziness and sleepiness.
