Description

Rovor Tablet contains rivaroxaban, an anticoagulant medication that helps prevent blood clots. It is used to reduce the risk of blood clots in the blood vessels of the brain (which can lead to stroke

s) and other parts of the body in patients with an irregular heart rhythm. Rovor Tablet is also prescribed to treat or prevent blood clots in the veins of the legs (deep vein thrombosis) and to prevent blood clots in the blood vessels of the lungs (pulmonary embolism). This medication is also used to prevent venous blood clots in patients who are undergoing hip or knee replacement surgery. Rivaroxaban in Rovor Tablet works by inhibiting a specific blood clotting factor (factor Xa), which reduces the tendency for blood clots to form. It is important to take Rovor Tablet with food at the same times each day, as directed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medication on your own without consulting your healthcare provider. While using Rovor Tablet, be cautious and avoid direct contact with sharp objects, such as knives or blades, as this may increase the risk of bleeding.

Contraindications of Rovor 10 MG

If you are allergic to rivaroxaban or any of the other ingredients of Rovor Tablet.
If you have liver disease.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you have any bleeding disorder.
If you have a stomach ulcer, brain injury, bleeding in the brain.
If you have undergone brain or eye surgery recently.
If you are taking other medicines, e.g. warfarin, dabigatran, apixaban or heparin to prevent blood clots except in some conditions.

Components of Rovor Tablet are known to be excreted in milk. Hence, it should be avoided while breastfeeding.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Rovor Tablet?

Rovor Tablet causes fainting or dizziness. If you are taking Rovor Tablet, avoid driving.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Rovor Tablet?

Drinking alcohol, along with this medicine, may increase the risk of bleeding. Therefore, alcohol drinking should be avoided while taking Rovor Tablet.

It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results. Do not consume it more than the quantity prescribed by your doctor.
