It causes a decline in brain function and results in symptoms like agitation, confusion, etc. Rifaximin tablets help in reducing infections and relieving these symptoms. This medicine also helps reduce diarrhoea in conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and travellers’ diarrhoea caused by “E. coli” (bacteria). This antibiotic can be used alone or in combination with other medications to treat the infection. This medicine can cause a change in the colour of urine.
