Reden gum paint is a topical medicine used to support care of sore or irritated gums. It contains menthol, potassium iodide, iodine, tannic acid, aluminium hydroxide, thymol and camphor. These ingredients provide local cleansing, astringent and soothing effects on the gum surface, while menthol and camphor can provide a cooling sensation. Reden gum paint is applied directly to the gums and is for external use only.
