RASILEZ tablet is used to treat high blood pressure. Its active ingredient is aliskiren.

Uses

  • High blood pressure

Contraindications

If you are allergic to any ingredient of this medicine, do not use it. Do not use aliskiren with an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor or an angiotensin receptor blocker if you have diabetes. Tell your doctor about kidney disease, high potassium, or previous swelling of the face or throat.

Take this tablet as a whole with sufficient water. It may be taken with or without food, but take it in a consistent way and follow your clinician's instructions.

Store in the original pack in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and moisture. Keep it out of the reach of children and dispose of unused medicine through a pharmacist.

If you missed any dose of medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.

Aliskiren blocks renin, an enzyme that starts a chain of signals that tightens blood vessels and raises blood pressure. Blocking this chain helps relax blood vessels.
