Ramitorva capsule is used to treat increased cholesterol, especially when associated with the risk of heart diseases like a heart attack or stroke. It contains a combination of three active ingredien
ts- acetylsalicylic Acid, atorvastatin and ramipril. It is used in preventing a heart attack or stroke and is also useful to treat high blood pressure and lower your blood cholesterol levels. This capsule should be taken as directed by your doctor. Do not miss any dose or discontinue this medicine without consulting your doctor. Avoid smoking and consuming alcohol while on treating with Ramitorva capsules. You should exercise regularly and should be conscious of your diet. Before using Ramitorva capsule, inform the doctor about your detailed medical history.

Contraindications of Ramitorva Strip Of 10 Capsules
- If you have any allergic reaction to acetylsalicylic Acid, atorvastatin, ramipril or any of the components of the Ramitorva capsule.
- If you are suffering from any pre-existing health condition such as bleeding disorders or gout, liver or kidney problem, unstable blood pressure etc.
- If you have a history of ulcers in the stomach or small intestine.
- If you’ve had an asthmatic attack or any serious allergic reaction like itching, swelling, difficulty in breathing or swallowing, etc.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- If you are already taking certain medicines for cancer or rheumatoid arthritis or heart disorder.
- If you have diabetes or kidney dysfunction and you are taking blood pressure-lowering medicine like aliskiren.
- As it is a combination of 3 different components, any condition which is contraindicated with any of these when taken alone should be considered contraindicated for this combination.

- You are planning to get allergy shots for bee or wasp stings.
- You have an underlying health condition such as diabetes, gout, asthma or any thyroid problems, bleeding disorder, liver or kidney problem, any kind of heart disorder, high potassium level etc.
- You have lupus or a condition of thickening, tightening of the skin, blood vessels.
- You notice blood in stools or vomit or have ulcers in your stomach or small intestine.
- You have lost a lot of body fluids due to vomiting, sweating, diarrhoea or are taking water tablets for a long time.
- You experience muscle pain, cramps, weakness and fever after taking the Ramitorva capsule, immediately inform your doctor.
- You are planning to have surgery and will be given an anaesthetic. You should tell your doctor or dentist that you are taking this medicine.
- You are already taking any other medicines especially anti-hypertensive or antibacterial medicines.
- You are on a low-salt diet or have an electrolyte imbalance of sodium, magnesium, potassium and have symptoms of dryness of mouth, thirst, drowsiness, muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, etc.
- Ramitorva capsule is not recommended in patients below 18 years and elderly people may be more sensitive to this medicine.

How Does It Work?
- Ramitorva capsule works by the combined action of Acetylsalicylic Acid, Atorvastatin and Ramipril.
- Acetylsalicylic Acid works by stopping the platelets from forming a clot so that the blood can flow easily and without any obstruction.
- Atorvastatin inhibits or blocks an enzyme that is needed in the body to make cholesterol, reducing the bad cholesterol and increasing the good cholesterol in the blood.
- Ramipril works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin, responsible for the narrowing of blood vessels. Thus, allowing your blood vessels to relax and widen, making it easier for blood to flow through....

- As the Ramitorva capsule contains Atorvastatin, Ramipril and Aspirin, so any interactions seen with these three components when taken alone may occur with this combination.
- Ramitorva capsule may interact with other medications and provide an altered response to the treatment. Please notify your doctor if you are undergoing any other treatments, over-the-counter medications (that you buy without a prescription) and herbal preparations....
- In particular, if you are taking medicines such as blood thinners, immunosuppressants, other anti-hypertensive medicines, potassium supplements, antibiotics like clarithromycin, mood-related medicines, painkillers etc....
- Do not take Ramitorva capsules with hepatitis medicines like Glecaprevir/ Pibrentasvir.
- Use of antidiabetics (insulin, sitagliptin) along with this medicine can affect your blood sugar level. The doctor may ask you to monitor your blood sugar level regularly.
- Other medicines like lithium, aliskiren, prednisolone, ephedrine, noradrenaline or adrenaline should be used cautiously along with Ramitorva capsules.
