Medical Description
Pulmicort oral inhaler is used to prevent asthma symptoms and control inflammation in the airways. It contains budesonide, a corticosteroid medicine that reduces swelling and irritation inside the breathing tubes. By reducing inflammation and the release of substances that narrow the airways, it helps air move more freely. Pulmicort oral inhaler is breathed through the mouth into the lungs and must be used regularly as prescribed. It controls asthma over time but does not provide rapid relief during a sudden asthma attack.
