Proluton Depot Injection

• If you are allergic to hydroxyprogesterone or any other ingredient of Proluton Depot 250 mg injection.
• If you had or have problems with your liver like liver cancer.
• If you have breast cancer or any other hormone cancer.
• If you have undiagnosed abnormal vaginal bleeding.
• If you have or had blood clot disorders.
• If you have jaundice during pregnancy.
• If you have high blood pressure that is not controlled.

• Nausea
• Diarrhoea
• Skin rash
• Itching
• Pain at injection

Other General Warnings

• You had or have a blood disorder
• You have heart or kidney disease.
• You have diabetes.
• You are pregnant and suffer from asthma, fits, migraine, or high blood pressure.
• You have a history of depression.
• You develop jaundice or high blood pressure after using this medicine.
• You develop any allergic reactions like rash, swelling, or itching after using Proluton Depot 250 mg injection.
• You are a smoker.
• You are pregnant with more than one baby (like twins, triplets).

• Proluton Depot 250 mg injection will be given in the hospital by your doctor or nurse.
• Do not self-inject this medicine. Follow any aftercare instructions given by the doctor or nurse.

• Store Proluton Depot 250mg injection below 25°C, away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze.
• Keep it away from children and pets

Interactions with other medicines

• Some medicines can affect the way Proluton Depot 250 mg injection works or Proluton Depot 250 mg injection itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Medicines used for the treatment of acidity/heartburn (cimetidine), bacterial infections (ciprofloxacin), anesthesia (halothane, ketamine), addiction (nicotine), depression (bupropion), should be used with caution as they may alter the effects of Proluton Depot 250 mg injection.
