Practin capsule consists of 4mg of cyproheptadine, which belongs to an antihistamine class of medicine. It is used to treat various allergic conditions such as rashes, coughs, watery eyes, sneezing,

runny or clogged noses, etc. It is also used to treat allergic skin reactions like hives caused due to cold temperatures and for blood transfusion-related life-threatening allergic reactions after it has been brought under control.
