Cyproheptadine is an anti-allergic medicine. It is used for the treatment of se
asonal allergies like skin rash, cough, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing and congested nose and for allergic conditions of skin.
Uses of Cyproheptadine
- Allergic symptoms like skin rash, watery eyes and other allergic symptoms.
- Treat rhinitis showing symptoms like sneezing, runny or congested nose.
Contraindications of Cyproheptadine
When should one not use Cyproheptadine
- Narrow angle glaucoma
- Peptic ulcer
- Increased size of the urinary bladder
- Not being able to empty bladder completely
- Bladder neck obstruction
- Bronchial asthma
- Hyperthyroidism
- Heart diseases
