Contraindications
- If you are allergic to either etizolam or escitalopram
- If you are using citalopram
- If you are less than 12 years of age
- If you are using MAO-inhibitor concurrently like linezolid, phenelzine, rasagiline, etc. or have used these medicines within the last 14 days
- If you are taking stimulant medicines or other medicines for Parkinson's, migraine, depression, headaches,
- If you are taking anticoagulants
- If you are taking opiods
- If you have closed-angle glaucoma
- If you are a chronic alcoholic
- If you are taking pimozide
- If you have serious liver issues
- If you have low sodium levels
- If you have bleeding disorders
- If you have malabsorption syndromes
- If you have sexual problems
- If you have drug addiction problems or have suicidal tendencies
- If you have manic behaviour
- If you have had a heart attack in the last 30 days
- If you have bleeding from the stomach, duodenum, or oesophagus
- If you have serotonin syndrome - a type of disorder with high serotonin levels

- You have any allergic reactions.
- You experience any side effects. Keep your family members informed of your medication and make them aware of the serious side effects and when to call your doctor or emergency services.
- Take Placida Plus in a dosage not advised by the doctor. It should be continued for the advised period of time. It should not be stopped abruptly without consulting the doctor. Sudden withdrawal may cause adverse effects such as flu-like symptoms, insomnia,nausea, seizures, abnormal body feelings and sensation, aches and pain, anxiety and paranoia, derealisation, depersonalisation, and depression.
Directions for Use
- Tablet Placida Plus is to be taken as prescribed by your physician.
- Tab.placida plus can be taken orally with or without water.
- Avoid cigarette smoking with tablet Placida Plus.
- Avoid alcohol if you are taking Placida Plus.
- Do not share your medicine with anyone.
- Contact your doctor if you are experiencing uncontrollable side effects with Tablet Placida Plus.

- Serotonergic Drugs like opiates, tricyclic antidepressants, triptans, MAO inhibitors
- Pimozide
- Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
- CYP3A4 inhibitors like doxylamine, fluvoxamine, minocycline, mifepristone, etc.
Interactions with food items
- Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.
- You can continue your regular diet.
