Pregnancy

Can I take Perjeta 420mg Injection during pregnancy?

Perjeta 420mg injection is not advisable during pregnancy and for women of childbearing potential who are not using contraception.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Perjeta 420mg Injection while breastfeeding?

Perjeta 420mg Injection may be excreted in breast milk; therefore, a decision should be made regarding whether to discontinue breastfeeding or to halt treatment, considering the benefits of breastfeeding for the child and the advantages of Perjeta therapy for the woman.

Driving

Can I drive if I have taken Perjeta 420mg Injection?

Perjeta has a minor impact on driving or operating machines. Dizziness may occur during treatment, and patients with infusion reactions should avoid driving or using machines until symptoms improve.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Perjeta 420mg Injection?

No known interactions with alcohol.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

You have kidney disease or have undergone a kidney transplant.
You have liver disease or a history of liver issues.
You have a history of heart disease, including heart failure or diminished heart function.
You are experiencing symptoms such as shortness of breath, swelling in the legs, or a rapid heartbeat during treatment.
You have suffered severe allergic reactions to medications in the past.
You are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.
You experience severe diarrhoea, dehydration, or unusual fatigue during treatment.
You develop a fever, chills, or other signs of infection.
You notice any unusual swelling, rash, or hives after an infusion.
You have a low white blood cell count or have experienced febrile neutropenia previously.
You experience sudden changes in vision or severe headaches during treatment.
You are taking other medications, including over-the-counter drugs or supplements, as they may interact with Perjeta.

Directions for Use of Perjeta 30 MG/ML

This medicine will be given to you by your doctor or nurse. Self-administration is not advised.

Storage and disposal of Perjeta 30 MG/ML

Store in a refrigerator (2° C-8° C).
Do not freeze.
Keep the vial in the outer carton in order to protect it from light.
