Perjeta 420mg Vial Of 14ml Solution For Infusion
Description
Perjeta 420mg Injection is an anticancer medication that contains pertuzumab, used to treat a specific type of breast cancer (HER2-positive) in conjunction with other chemotherapy drugs.
Common side effects of this medication include hair loss, diarrhea, nausea, and fatigue. This medication may reduce the number of blood cells, specifically decreasing white blood cells, which can increase susceptibility to infections. Regular blood tests are required to monitor your blood cells, as well as to check your heart, liver, and kidneys.
Many other medications can affect or be affected by this treatment, so inform your healthcare team about all medications you are using. This medication is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Both males and females must use effective contraception during treatment to prevent pregnancy.
Please discuss all medications you are currently taking, including supplements and herbs, with your doctor before starting Perjeta. Additionally, it is important to inform your doctor if you have a history of heart problems or have previously undergone chemotherapy.
