Medical Description
Sadness, discontent, rage, and hopelessness are symptoms of depression, which interfere with a person's daily activities. Pari Cr is a tablet manufactured by IPCA laboratories. It is from the drug class of antidepressants and contains Paroxetine. It belongs to a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI).
It is used to treat serious depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorders, anxiety after a traumatic experience, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and generalised anxiety disorder in adults.
This medicine should not be taken without the consultation of a doctor. Take the medication at the same time of the day with or without food.
The dose of Pari Cr should be slowly increased after giving lower doses.
This medicine should not be skipped, even after the resolution of the symptoms. Sudden stoppage can lead to serious health issues.

Directions for Use
- Pari CR 25 tablets should be taken as prescribed by the doctor.
- It should be swallowed as a whole with water.
- Do not break the tablet. It should not be chewed or crushed.
- Pari CR 25 tablets can be taken with or without food.
- It should be taken at a fixed time daily.
- Avoid missing the dose or forgetting the dose.

Storage and disposal
Store Pari CR 25 tablets below 20-25 degrees celsius temperature, away from direct heat and light, in a cool place. Do not freeze it and keep them away from pets and children

Overdose
Don't take Pari CR 25 tablets more than the prescribed dose. Overdosing will not improve the symptoms; rather, it will lead to toxicity in the body. It can lead to severe side effects.
In case of overdose, directly visit the nearest emergency room of the hospital. Signs of overdose may include rashes, hives, dizziness, swelling, wheezing, cough, shortness of breath, etc.
Do not give the same medicine to someone else who has the same condition as it may lead to unwanted side effects.
Missed a Dose
If you have missed the dose of Pari CR 25 tablets, take it as soon as you remember it. If it is close to the time of the next dose, then let it be. Take the next scheduled dose.
Do not take two doses simultaneously or more than prescribed to compensate for the missed dose. Do not stop or change the dose of the medicine without consulting the doctor.
In case you are regularly missing the dose, then set the alarm or ask your medical guardian to remind you to take the tablet. Consult the doctor to discuss the missed doses and understand what can be done for the missed doses.

How Does It Work?
Pari Cr 25 Tablet works by increasing the amount of a neurotransmitter in the brain called serotonin. This helps you sleep better, enhances your mood, and relieves worry and tension.
Paroxetine blocks presynaptic Serotonin reuptake, which boosts serotonin levels in the synaptic cleft and relieves various depression and anxiety symptoms.
Compared to earlier antidepressants, it has fewer negative effects. This medicine takes 4-6 weeks to work, so you should keep taking it even if it doesn't seem to be working. Even if you feel better, do not stop taking it without the doctor's approval.
Endogenous serotonin is responsible for mood stabilisation, happiness, and emotions of a person. It also aids in restful sleep, healthy eating, and digestion. Serotonin deficiency causes depression and anxiety.
