Medical Description
Pamorelin LA Dry powder for injection is a prescription hormone-control medicine used for hormone-sensitive prostate disease, endometriosis and puberty that starts unusually early. It contains triptorelin, which first stimulates and then suppresses the hormone signals that control the testes or ovaries. This lowers testosterone in men and oestrogen in women, which can slow hormone-dependent prostate disease, reduce endometriosis activity and pause early puberty. The powder is prepared and given as an injection by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic, and it must not be self-injected.

- Endometriosis: Tissue similar to the womb lining grows outside the womb and can cause pain or bleeding; lower ovarian hormone activity may reduce these symptoms.
