Mode of Action

How Does It Work?

Oxramet G Xr Tablet is a combination of three medications used to treat diabetes. Dapagliflozin lowers blood sugar levels by prompting the kidneys to expel more glucose through urine. Glimepiride helps to lower blood sugar levels by stimulating the pancreas to produce insulin, which is needed to break down sugar in the body, and by increasing the body's efficient use of insulin. Metformin works by regulating the amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood. It reduces glucose absorption from your food and decreases the amount of glucose produced by your liver. Additionally, it enhances the body's response to insulin, which is a natural substance that regulates the amount of glucose in the blood.
