Mode of Action of Ondafresh 2 MG/5ML

How Does It Work?

Ondansetron blocks the reflex inducing nausea and vomiting by activating vagal afferents via 5HT3 receptors.

Directions for Use of Ondafresh 2 MG/5ML

Shake the bottle before use. Ondafresh Syrup must be taken by mouth as directed by your doctor.

Interactions of Ondafresh 2 MG/5ML

Interactions with other medicines

Concomitant use of beta-blockers or antiarrhythmics with ondansetron may increase the risk of arrhythmias
Concomitant use of phenytoin, carbamazepine or rifampicin with ondansetron may decrease the efficiency of ondansetron
Concomitant use of ondansetron and tramadol reduce the tramadol's effect as a pain killer
Erythromycin or ketoconazole used with ondansetron may increase the risk of arrhythmias

Storage and disposal of Ondafresh 2 MG/5ML

Store at a temperature below 20°C. Store out of reach from children. Do not throw away the unused medicine in the household trash. Instead, please ask your pharmacist for safe disposal practices.

Dosage of Ondafresh 2 MG/5ML

Overdose

Please go to the emergency department closest to you in case of overdose. In addition, please carry the product package with you to provide the doctor treating you with the necessary details.

Missed a Dose

If you miss a dose, please take it as soon as you realise it. Please skip the missed dose and take the next one if it is time for your next dose. Do not give two doses at a time.
