Onabet AD shampoo is used to control dandruff and relieve a scaly, flaky or itchy scalp caused by fungal growth. It contains a combination of sertaconazole nitrate and zinc pyrithione, two antifungal medicines that act against the fungi linked with dandruff. Together, sertaconazole nitrate and zinc pyrithione help stop these fungi from forming the protective covering they need, which reduces scalp flaking and itching. This shampoo is for external use on the scalp, where it is massaged gently, left on for the advised contact time and then rinsed off.
