Odicef Injection is an antibiotic medicine. It is used for the treatment of various bacterial infections such as infection of brain, lungs, ear, stomach, urinary tract, joints, blood, skin and soft t

issues. Odicef Injection contains ceftriaxone as its active ingredient. Ceftriaxone acts by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Odicef Injection is given/adminstered in healthcare set up under supervision of a registered medical practitioner. Odicef Injection is used to treat bacterial infection of the brain, lungs, airways, stomach, urinary tract, bone, joints, blood, skin and soft tissues.

Contraindications of Odicef 125 MG

  • If you are allergic to ceftriaxone or any other ingredients of the Odicef Injection.
  • If you are allergic to antibiotics from class cephalosporin, penicillins, monobactams and carbapenems. If you are not sure about which are these medicines ask your doctor.
  • This injection should not be used in prematured babies, newborn suffering from jaundice or receiving calcium intravenously.
