Description
Nutalact Syrup contains lactitol and benzoic acid as the main ingredient. This syrup is used to treat constipation in adults and children. Lactitol increases the water content and volume of the stool
. This makes the stools easier to pass. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. Do not use this medicine while breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy. It is also not recommended in newborn babies. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients or if you have other health problems. Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of antacid tablets causes the coating of the tablet to dissolve early, leading to gastrointestinal irritation
- Concomitant use of medicines used to reduce blood pressure can dangerously lower the potassium levels

- Store the product in its original package
- Keep the medicine away from reach from children and pets
- Do not use the medicine after expiry date
- Do not throw medicines in wastewater or household waste

Overdose

Missed a Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember but if the next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose. Do not take double dose to make up for the missed dose.
