Normaxin RT Tablet is used in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (stomach pain, bleeding, squeezing, bulging, bloating, and loose stool or constipation). It is composed of clidinium, rabeprazole, chlordiazepoxide, dicycloverine/dicyclomine. It forestalls the abrupt fit of muscles to calm stomach spasms.
Normaxin RT Tablet is taken without food. The dosage and duration you are given will rely upon your condition and how you react to the medication. If you stop treatment too soon, your side effects might return and your condition might decline.

Contraindications

Directions for Use
- You should take Normaxin RT Tablets in the same dose and duration as directed by the doctor.
- Normaxin RT Tablet should be swallowed as a whole with water.
- It should not be chewed or crushed. Do not break the tablet.
- You should take Normaxin RT Tablet without food.
- For optimal pharmacological effects, you should take it at a fixed time daily. Avoid missing a dose.
- Even after the resolution of the symptoms, any prescribed dosage of Normaxin RT Tablet should not be skipped.

Storage and disposal
Store Normaxin RT Tablets below 30℃, away from direct heat and light, in a cool place. Do not freeze Normaxin RT Tablets and keep them away from pets and children. You can also dispose of them blended in with something unfortunate, for example, utilised coffee beans or soil, to make the medication less appealing to children and pets.

Overdose
Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Normaxin RT Tablets. Overdose of Normaxin RT Tablet will lead to toxicity in the body, and can have severe side effects like rashes, confusion, difficulty in urination, severe drowsiness, severe dryness of mouth, shortness of breath, coma, etc. In case of an overdose of Normaxin RT Tablet, directly visit the nearest emergency room of the hospital.
Do not share this medicine with someone else who has the same condition, as it may lead to unwanted side effects.
Missed a Dose
If you have missed the dose of Normaxin RT Tablets, take it as soon as you recall. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed tablet and take the scheduled dose. Do not take two doses together to compensate for the missed dose. Do not stop or change the medicine dosage without medical advice.

How Does It Work?
Normaxin RT Tablet relaxes the muscles of the large intestines and stomach, and relieves the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. It also reduces the acid production in the stomach to prevent heartburn, digestion issues, and ulcers.
Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine(tranquilliser). It increases the action of the chemical messenger GABA (gamma-Aminobutyric acid) that decreases the abnormal and excessive activity of neurons (nerve cells) in the brain. Clidinium and dicyclomine are antispasmodic medicines that relax the muscles of the stomach and intestine. They stop muscle contractions (spasms) and relieve cramps, pain, bloating and discomfort. Rabeprazole relieves acid-related digestion issues and heartburn by decreasing the amount of acid in the stomach.
