Nexovas O Tablet is an antihypertensive medication. It contains a combination of cilnidipine and olmesartan as active substances. Nexovas O Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. It

lowers the blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels. Take Nexovas O Tablet in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Before starting Nexovas O Tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant/breastfeeding and about your complete medical history.

Nexovas O Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure in adults and in children above 6 years of age.

Contraindications of Nexovas O 40mg Strip Of 10 Tablets

If you are allergic to cilnidipine, olmesartan, or any of the other ingredients of Nexovas O Tablet.
If you are being treated with a blood pressure lowering medicine containing aliskiren. If you are not sure what this medicine is, please confirm with your doctor.
If you are more than 3 months pregnant.
If you have jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes) or problems with the drainage of bile from the gallbladder (biliary obstruction, like gallstones).
If you have diabetes.
If you have kidney problems.

Mode of Action of Nexovas O 40mg Strip Of 10 Tablets

How Does It Work?

Nexovas O Tablet contains a combination of cilnidipine and olmesartan as active substances.
Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that blocks the incoming calcium and prevents the contraction of blood vessels. This helps to reduce blood pressure.
Olmesartan blocks all the actions of a chemical called angiotensin II which helps to relax the blood vessels and thereby lowers blood pressure.

Take Nexovas O Tablet as a whole with sufficient water.
Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Do not cut, break, or chew the medicine.
Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
Do not discontinue the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.

Interactions with other medicines
