Interactions of Neo Drol 125 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- CYP34A inhibiting medications like troleandomycin and isoniazid increases the plasma concentration of methylprednisolone
- Concomitant treatment with CYP3A4 inducers like rifampin and phenytoin decreases the methylprednisolone concentration by increasing its hepatic clearance
- When methylprednisolone is given along with another CYP3A4 substrate like tacrolimus and cyclophosphamide, the hepatic clearance of methylprednisolone is inhibited
Interactions with food items
- Grapefruit can increase the plasma concentration of methylprednisolone by reducing its hepatic clearance
