Natclovir is a capsule used for maintenance treatment of cytomegalovirus retinitis after initial treatment and for prevention of cytomegalovirus disease in certain people with a weakened immune system. Its active ingredient is ganciclovir, which can seriously reduce blood-cell counts, harm an unborn baby, and impair fertility.
