Medical Description

Narcodol tablets 10’s are generally used for the treatment of severe acute pain as well as to stop vomiting. The pain may be in the tooth, head, ear, joints or due to menstrual cramps as well. Narcodol tablets 10’s contain three chief ingredients - domperidone, tramadol and paracetamol. Domperidone is an antiemetic(controls vomiting). It can work by controlling the vomit centres located in our brain. tramadol and paracetamol are pain killers, and they work by blocking the chemicals that cause pain in our body The dosage amount of Narcodol tablets 10’s is decided by the physician, and it may vary from person to person and depends on age, sex, and the type of medical condition to be treated. Patients with kidney disease should use this medication with caution only after a professional consultation with a trained medical professional, as dose adjustments may be needed in such patients. It should be used for the duration as advised by your doctor. You should give the doctor a brief description of your medical history before starting this medication.

  • Warfarin- Patients have the risk of bleeding.
  • Antidepressants- Increases the risk of haemorrhage (bleeding) in the brain.
  • Cimetidine- Might slow down the metabolism
  • Monoamine oxidase inhibitors- These includes procarbazine, linezolid, etc.
