Medical Description
Myfair cream is used in the treatment and prevention of moderate-to-severe melasma (dark and discoloured patches on the skin). It is a combination medicine containing mometasone, tretinoin, and hydroquinone. Myfair cream is also helpful in lightening skin tone or appearance and senile lentigines.
Senile lentigines are dark spots or age spots in older people due to exposure to the sun. Do not use it for a prolonged duration unless prescribed by your dermatologist, as it contains a steroid.
Skinlite cream, No Scar cream, Skinshine cream, Hhlite cream, and Melamet cream are other medicines that have a combination of mometasone, tretinoin, and hydroquinone.
Wash your hands before and after applying Myfair cream. Avoid sun exposure immediately after applying this medicine. Use Myfair cream exactly as instructed by the doctor. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects, but they normally fade away with time. Inform your doctor if you notice the side effects persist or worsen.
