Mucaryl Ax Plus syrup is used to treat cough associated with infections in the airways, bronchial asthma, shortness of breath, and lung infections. It contains a combination of ambroxol, terbutaline, guaiphenesin/guaifenesin, and ammonium chloride as active substances. This medicine helps in the expulsion of mucous and reduces cough and breathlessness. It also helps to loosen the phlegm and mucous from the respiratory pathway and makes it easier to cough out. This medicine should be used cautiously if you have liver or kidney-related problems. Also, discuss if you have any other underlying medical conditions before starting the treatment. It is advisable to consult a physician before giving this medicine to children below 6 years. Mucaryl Ax Plus Syrup should not be given with any other cough or cold medicines. Before taking Mucaryl Ax Plus syrup, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding.
