Monoguard Shampoo is used for the treatment in adult patients with dandruff and scaly and red patches of the scalp called seborrheic dermatitis.

How Does It Work?
- Sertaconazole works by inhibiting the formation of an important component of the fungal cell membrane. This affects the structure of the fungus resulting in the death of fungus.
- Zinc Pyrithione inhibits fungal growth by increasing the levels of copper within the cells. Thus, damaging the essential proteins of the fungi.
Directions for Use of Monoguard 2 %
- Use Monoguard Shampoo as directed by your doctor.
- For external use only.
- Wet your hair with a sufficient quantity of water. Apply 5-10 ml of Monoguard Shampoo depending on your hair length.
- Massage to lather and keep it on the hair and scalp for a few minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with a sufficient quantity of water.
- In case this medicine comes in contact with your eyes, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
