Monoguard Shampoo is a medicated shampoo containing Sertaconazole and Zinc Pyrithione as its active ingredients. Monoguard Shampoo acts by inhibiting the fungal growth and resulting in cell death. Th

Monoguard Shampoo is used for the treatment in adult patients with dandruff and scaly and red patches of the scalp called seborrheic dermatitis.

Mode of Action of Monoguard 2 %

How Does It Work?

Sertaconazole works by inhibiting the formation of an important component of the fungal cell membrane. This affects the structure of the fungus resulting in the death of fungus.
Zinc Pyrithione inhibits fungal growth by increasing the levels of copper within the cells. Thus, damaging the essential proteins of the fungi.

Directions for Use of Monoguard 2 %

Use Monoguard Shampoo as directed by your doctor.
For external use only.
Wet your hair with a sufficient quantity of water. Apply 5-10 ml of Monoguard Shampoo depending on your hair length.
Massage to lather and keep it on the hair and scalp for a few minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with a sufficient quantity of water.
In case this medicine comes in contact with your eyes, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
