Interactions with other medicines

  • ACE Inhibitors, Angiotensin Receptor Blockers (ARB), or Beta-Blockers used concomitantly with indomethacin may diminish the antihypertensive effect of these medicines
  • Indometacin can reduce natriuretic effect of furosemide and thiazide diuretics
  • Concomitant administration of indomethacin with desmopressin reduces the latter's efficiency
  • Indometacin may reduce the elimination of lithium when taken concomitantly
