- Concomitant use of medicines used to treat nausea or vomitings like metoclopramide or domperidone and Metacin 500 mg must be avoided.
- Medicines used to thin the blood like warfarin, must not be administered together with Metacin 500mg tablet.
- Avoid taking Cholesterol-lowering medicines like cholestyramine, within one hour of taking Metacin 100mg tablets.
- Medicines used for bacterial infection like chloramphenicol.
- Medicines used to treat fits or brain-related disorders like carbamazepine and Metacin 500mg must be used cautiously.
Other general Interactions
Metacin tablet is not recommended for patients with chronic liver diseases.
