Mode of Action of Mero 1 G

How Does It Work?

Meropenem binds to certain proteins called penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) and prevents the formation of the bacterial cell wall. This results in the death of infection-causing bacteria.

Mero 1g injection will be given in a hospital by your doctor or nurse as an injection.
