Uses of Macfast 1 G

Macfast Infusion is used for short term treatment of pain especially post operative pain and fever when oral adminstration is not possible.

Contraindications of Macfast 1 G

If you are allergic to paracetamol or any ingredients of Macfast Infusion.
If you have serious liver disease or dysfunction.

Pregnancy

Can I take Macfast Infusion during pregnancy?

Macfast Infusion can be used during pregnancy if the doctor recommends. Yet, it should be used for a short duration in low doses and should not be used too frequently by pregnant women.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Macfast Infusion while breastfeeding?

Paracetamol passes into breastmilk in small amount. Macfast Infusion can be used during breastfeeding, if advised by your treating doctor.

Driving

Can I drive if I have taken Macfast Infusion?

Paracetamol is not likely to affect your ability to drive or use machines.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Macfast Infusion?

It is advised not to consume alcohol during the treatment. Especially if you have an existing liver condition and you drink too often.

Other General Warnings
