Medical Description
Ledermycin tablet is an antibiotic used for selected bacterial infections and, in specialist care, for low sodium caused by inappropriate water retention. It contains demeclocycline, which stops susceptible bacteria from making proteins needed for growth. It can also reduce the kidney's response to the body's water-retaining signal, helping selected patients correct low sodium. Ledermycin tablet is swallowed whole with water on an empty stomach as directed, and it is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It should be used only when a doctor considers this treatment appropriate.
