Ipravent Respule contains Ipratropium as its active ingredient and is used to treat asthma and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). COPD is a condition where your lung is damaged, thus making the passage of air in the lungs difficult. Patients with glaucoma, prostate problems should cautiously use this medicine.   • Concomitant use of Ipravent respules is not recommended with anticholinergic medicines like atropine, clidinium, cyclopentolate, dicylomine, tiotropium, etc.
  • Medicines like atenolol, bisoprolol (used to treat high blood pressure and heart problems) and Xanthine preparations like Theophylline (used in asthma) when simultaneously used along with Ipravent, may alter its effects.
  • Medicines like Albuterol, Formoterol (used to treat asthma) should be used with caution along with Ipravent respules.
