Medical Description
Innohep injection is an anticoagulant used to prevent and treat harmful blood clots in the legs and lungs. It contains tinzaparin sodium, a low-molecular-weight heparin that reduces the blood's ability to form clots. It may also be used after hip, knee or other surgery when limited movement raises clot risk, and to help prevent clots in selected long-term intravenous lines. Innohep injection is given by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic and is not self-injected.
