Directions for Use of Idrofos 150 MG

Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Idrofos tablet should be taken the first thing in the morning with a full glass of water.
Do not eat or drink anything (except water) for at least 1 hour (or the duration mentioned by your doctor) after consuming this medicine.
Do not lie down, recline or bend forward but sit upright for at least 1 hour after consuming this medicine.

Interactions of Idrofos 150 MG

Interactions with other medicines

Do not take the Idrofos tablet along with calcium, iron, aluminium or magnesium supplements or antacids as these may interfere with its absorption.
Take these medicines after a gap of 6 hours for best results.
Medicines like aspirin, diclofenac, ibuprofen (NSAID's) should be avoided or used with caution along with the Idrofos tablet as they may increase the level of gastric discomfort caused.

You should not chew, crush or suck the tablet.
Swallow it as a whole with one full glass of water.
Use plain water and not mineral water if possible.
Take the tablet 60 minutes before you eat or drink anything in the morning (not even any other medicines).
Take the monthly dose first thing in the morning on the same day every month.
After taking this medicine do not lie down or recline for an hour.

Q: What should I do if I forget to take the Idrofos tablet?

A: If you forgot to take the Idrofos tablet on the scheduled day, do not take it if you remember at any time of the day. Take it on the next morning as first thing 60 minutes before meals. Continue the further dosing accordingly. You make consult your doctor in case of any confusion but be careful about the proper dosing of this medicine.

Q: Should I follow any dietary restrictions while taking the Idrofos tablet?

A: You should avoid any mineral supplements, milk or antacid medicines for at least 6 hours before and after taking the Idrofos tablet. Make sure you give a gap of at least 8 hours from your previous night's dinner and morning Idrofos tablet.
