Hold syrup is a nutritional supplement used to support daily intake of selected vitamins and minerals when food alone may not provide enough. It contains a combination of biotin, chromium chloride, vitamin B12, selenium, zinc and inositol. Biotin and chromium support normal nutrient metabolism, vitamin B12 contributes to normal nerve and red blood cell function, while zinc and selenium support normal immune and antioxidant functions; inositol is included as part of the nutritional formulation. Hold syrup is used by mouth with the measuring device supplied with the pack as directed, and it is not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet.
