  • If you have had an allergy after taking any painkiller (asthma, skin rashes, swelling & nasal congestion).
  • If you have a heart condition such as heart failure, high blood pressure.
  • If you have serious liver or kidney-related problems.
  • If you are pregnant, especially in the third trimester of pregnancy.
  • If you have or had stomach ulcers or bleeding in any part of your gut.

It is unsafe to take the Hifenac-P tablet during pregnancy, as it can lead to birth defects in the growing foetus. Hence, it should not be taken by a pregnant woman. Taking this medicine while you are pregnant can cause defects in the baby's heart or even delay of labour and increase the risk of bleeding in the mother and baby.
