Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Hemolit cream is a combination of six different active components. The collective action of each ingredient helps in relieving symptoms of piles and anal fissures.
- Hydrocortisone is a steroid. It works by blocking or reducing the action of some natural substances that causes pain, swelling and irritation.
- Phenylephrine works by narrowing the blood vessels of the affected area and thus helps in relieving swelling and may reduce bleeding and pain.
- Zinc oxide acts as a skin protectant. It acts as a barrier and protects the anal skin from irritants.
- Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic. It acts on nerves and blocks the conduction of pain sensations for a short duration of time, Thereby helps in reducing pain sensation.
- Calcium dobesilate acts by protecting the blood vessels of the anal and lowest part of the rectum area. It decreases the blood viscosity so that blood can easily flow through the blood vessels of the anal area and promotes normal blood flow. Thereby helps in reducing the swelling.
- Troxerutin strengthen the blood vessels of the anal and rectum area and also helps in reducing abnormal leakage.
