Grilinctus-L Oral suspension is used to treat non-productive coughs, also known as dry cough without sputum. It contains levocloperastine as its active ingredient. Grilinctus-L Oral Suspension suppresses the cough by reducing the activity of the cough centre in the brain.
Grilinctus-L should not be used by children below 8 years of age and pregnant women. Take this suspension at the exact dose as advised by your doctor for the prescribed duration. Use the measuring cup provided along with the pack for accurate dose administration.
Always shake the bottle well before each use. Inform your doctor if you are on any other medicines or have medical conditions. If you experience any other undesired effects after consuming Grilinctus L suspension, reach out to your nearest hospital or clinic.
According to the advisory issued by the Union Health Ministry, cough and cold medications should not be prescribed or dispensed to children under two years of age. These medications are generally not recommended for children under five years old. For children above that age, any use should be based on careful clinical evaluation and close supervision.
