Contraindications of Gemfos 35 MG
- If you are allergic to Risedronate or any of the other ingredients of Gemfos Tablet.
- If you have severe kidney disease.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- If your blood calcium levels are lower than normal, a condition called hypocalcemia.

Gemfos Tablet works by inhibiting the process of bone resorption which makes bones stronger and less likely to break.
Directions for Use of Gemfos 35 MG
Take this medicine without food, swallow whole with glass of plain water, 30 minutes before meal or drink (other than plain water)
or as prescribed by your doctor.

Interactions with other medicines
- Taking Gemfos Tablet with other medicines containing calcium, magnesium or aluminum affects the absorption of this medicine.
- Inform your doctor about all other medicines, over the counter medicines and herbal preparations you are consuming before starting with Gemfos Tablet
Interactions with food items
Taking this medicine with dairy products such as milk decreases the absorption of this medicine.

- Store at room temperature in a cool and dry place.
